I believe that elephant ears like to live in wet places. I have a spot in my yard that my stays wet due to air conditioner run off. I mean really really wet this is Kentucky and we have LOTS of humidity. Anyway I planted my elephant ears in this extremely wet place, hoping they will aid in reducing the wetness and help mosquito control. Does anyone have any advice? Do I need to move them? Is this going to be too wet for them?

They should do just fine. I have elephant ears growing like crazy by my a/c unit. The ground stays wet and they seem to love it. I live in Alabama so it’s pretty humid here as well.
Just think that’s one plant you will never have to water 🙂

I believe that the bulbs will rot, if too wet.
