I live in southern Indiana, when should I start tomato seeds>

    I would guestimate when your last frost or freeze will be and start the seeds indoors about six weeks ahead of then to allow for good germination and growth time. Tomatoes like warm soil. I usually don't plant until the soil is about 50 degrees. You can prepare your garden any time the soil is workable and have it ready for planting time. Lookup your planting zone and it should give you an idea of the planting time for your garden.
