Lily of the Valley look alike

Question

I found this in my Mother's yard but can't identify. I did find an image on a Japanese site but couldn't get it to translate. Sadly Mom's gone now and I haven't figured out how to talk to the dead ;-}. It looks like a lily of the valley except the blooms are longer and do not have the round bell shape. The leaves are thinner but they smell heavenly. Thanks!

I think it might be a variant of crocus, as the leaves are similar..I'm thinking snow bells

Thanks Jeanne! From the images I saw of snow bells they have a very different way that the petals attach to the stem. Also, mine don't have the green dots on the petals and the blooms grow singly alternating down the stem instead of cluster. I'm not sure it's in crocus family either because the don't have a single bloom stem.

i HAVE THESE ALSO AND THEY WERE IN A PACKAGE OF BULBS I BOUGHT. THEY COME UP AND BLOOM IN THE SPRING WITH THE OTHER LITTLE BULBS.
