Had this also, then read when fall comes DO NOT remove the stick like attachments from the bush, I had before and it did not bloom the next year. This year we have blooms galore! Also they prefer morning sun not afternoon. Good luck also feed them!
If you been cutting it back that is the reason. Leave the canes alone and it will bloom next year
make sure it is a perennial, if its not bring it in the winter time

Well I haven'the cut the stalks for 2 years still no blooms. They get morning sun... don'the know what else I can do. Thanks for the input
What kind of Hydrangeas are they ?. The Blue/pink Hydrangeas, I have need fertilizer at least x2 per year to put out a few blooms, my white Annabel never disappoint , come up and bloom abundantly every year. I don't prune till after I see the new growth in spring I just remove the dry canes , and I leave the dry blooms on the plant for the winter.
