Planters- how to care for shade plants ?

We have planters that sit on the front porch, 80% of the time in shade, but late in the day sun, which in the summer gets really hot, any ideas for shade plants that don't cook?

Coleous,Caladium,Fushias,New Guinea Impatients,Begonia,Wishbone flower.
