What is the best way to acclimate tomato plants grown indoors from seed to
the outdoors to be planted in the garden?

    Make sure the danger of frost is over. Put them on an enclosed porch for a few days to adjust to the outdoor climate.Then they should be fine to go into your garden.

    Make sure you are past the last average frost date for your area. Set them out in a protected area. Watch for frost or freeze warnings.
