Orange rust, called by a few other names is really difficult to rid your plants of. It's now spreading beyond the couple plants that had it. Tried so many products and solutions. What really works?

    • Remove all infected parts and destroy them. For bramble fruits, remove and destroy all the infected plants and replant the area with resistant varieties.
    • Clean away all debris in between plants to prevent rust from spreading.

Avoid splashing water onto the leaves, as this can help spread rust.

We had done that for two years. Thought we had it! Tried Neem oil, with some success. Peroxide sprayed on saved the raspberry plants this year, so far. But our black raspberry plants and soil have been removed and destroyed.
