I planted my bush on the west side of my House and it gets more afternoon sun . By late afternoon the petals of the flower start looking very wilted should I move it or does it just need time. I planted two weeks ago it has mulch around it

hydrangeas need to be protected from harsh afternoon sun. morning sun or partial sun is best for them. when the leaves wilt, they need to be watered if there hasn't been enough rain.Helpful Reply -

Hydrangeas love lots of water, so the west side is always so hot! I've had the most success with them in the shade, but I live in South Louisiana! Maybe try to relocate to a less afternoon sun! And lots of water HYDRAngeas, water is in their name!!Helpful Reply -
