Where is it planted in your garden sun,or shade?

There are two types of Clamatis. One should be cut back in the fall to encourage new growth in the spring and one that shouldn't. It seems like your variety is the former since you only get blooms on the new growth. Ask a knowledgeable person at your garden center what type you have. Take a bloom from the vine with you so they can identify it. Clamatis like their heads in the sun and feet in the shade.

All of it is cut back in the fall. Maybe I just wont cut it back this year and see what happens. I didn't know that there are two types. Thanks so much for the info.
