How long have you had It? Are there any buds on the plant?
it's in the shade, likes full sun, you've trimmed the leaves while in bloom (winter time when no leaves are on the plant is when they should trimmed, and not hacked back to trunk as most people do)
They need full sun and do not trim or prune until after blooming season.
Here is an article that might help you - http://thedailysouth.southernliving.com/2014/08/03/why-wont-my-crepe-myrtle-bloom/ - good luck
Plant in full sun. Trim in February and cut one half the length of last year's growth. It will start sprouting sometime in Late April or May depending on the variety and bloom later in the summer. Do not over water. These shrubs or trees depending on the type you have will thrive in the worst of conditions.
Thank you for all the feedback but I have done all the above and it is in full sun. I have had it for 4 years and has never had buds. I trim back in February and one year didn't trim at all. It is growing well but no beautiful flowers.
Do you prune in the Spring? That is the only reason why I would think they do not have buds on them.
