They make desks that fold out from the wall. I have also seen people hang a large shelf from the wall for a desk. If you have a desk already, use your wall space. Place shelving for organization. You can use dollar tree bins labeled for things you need to put on the shelf. Paint a light color to make the space look larger. Hang a medium sized or large mirror on one of the walls, this also expands a space.
Use your wall space to decorate. Some artificial trees in the corner with a cluster of maybe black and white family photos in different sizes. I take what I want to hang on the wall and put it on the floor and play with it until I have a design I'm happy with.
A large wall or standing mirror, or use an old window frame to create a fake window. Lights! Overhead and lamp light (more than one lamp). Use a small desk or a wall attached desk that does not take up too much space. Your desk should face the door or the "fake" window you created. Paint the walls your favorite cheerful color or a pale version of it. Find/use a piece of art you love. You need to make a space that you really want to spend time in. Last get yourself a nice looking comfortable chair. Good luck!
You could use a mural in whatever style you want like outdoors or garden since you don't have a windoW
I once had a small office with no windows. I had a lovely picture we took on a trip to Ireland. I sent it off to a place I found online that makes posters out of your jpg file, (it cost me 12.99 8 years ago) then put it in a frame. It was a GREAT "window," even tried curtains, but they were too much. Great ideas, everyone!
