I get it now. If you are wanting to cover up the slats until you can rebuild the walls, buy some store-bought quilts ($29 and up) or handmade quilts ($150 and up, depending on where you live). Hang the quilts to keep out drafts and cold, and to give the upstairs a homey feeling. 😇
