I believe shutters would look nice. Is your siding white...have you thought about white. Vinyl is nice..cleans well.Helpful Reply -

That would be nice, but how about something a little different? Steel blue for your shutters. Also, you have a short window. Make a second half of the window with wood and moulding. Then add shutters the same length as the ones for the 3 windows together. Plant an evergreen between the two windows. There are some that only grow to a max of 8 ft. And if you ever think about repainting the house, using a white with cream undertones looks very nice. Good luck.Helpful Reply -

I would put in some brighter flower pots on your porch, it is really dark and needs brightening. I can't even see your front door, it is so dark, perhaps a brighter color for the door and some taller bright plants by the door. You need to have some color at the front of the house, maybe do something with the open spaces by the front on the right where the shrubs seem to be missing.Helpful Reply -

Color; Shutters, door, pots, etc. Choose one color (like the blue mentioned above) add others with flowers and plants.Helpful Reply -

Beef up that post/pillar but wrapping it with a wood box. Need some color. What about adding shutters? Maybe a skylight or solatube so the entry isn't so dark. And paint the front door so it doesn't disappear into the darkness.Helpful Reply -

You need color! Rather than black shutters, how about blue? Get some colorful large pots & plant flowers in them. Maybe a bright rocking chair by your doorHelpful Reply -

Black shutter are always a classic! Another option would be red, but of course that doesn't offer much contrast.http://carmel-photos.funcityfinder.com/files/2010/08/rohrer-woods-subdivision-house-carmel-indiana.jpgi agree with plantings. I personally would not make the middle window appear larger, since it is not the same width either. You could replace it altogether, if you want more balance.I don't believe in painting brick, but here are some good before and afters.https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/304133781060957955/Helpful Reply -
