How can I change up my ugly backsplash?

The kitchen has whit tile with agreen accent tile like every 6 tiles. Linoleum matches.its ugly and dated. Can I paint it or remove it all

If you want a temporary fix then paint them out but if you want something a little more professional then rip it out and replace.
You can paint them, but in my experience, even the best prep in the world doesn't give you long term results. That being said, sometimes it's worth it to paint stuff until you can rip it out to replace it. Clean it well with a degreaser, then clean it again. Be sure to rinse any cleaner off. Use a good primer (Zinnser BIN). Then paint. Then seal with a few coats of clear polycrylic.
Removing the tile will leave you with damaged dry wall and you will need to retile.
Just depends on how much work you want to do.
You could get decals they have tile that look like aluminum that would look pretty or another color you could paint the accent another color then replace the floor or paint it
