Take one of the cabinet doors to the paint department of the home improvement store and ask for their advice. They have the newest paints, finishes and application tools for a professional finish.Helpful Reply -

You could paint your cabinets with General Finishes Milk paint. It requires very little prep work. I painted my oak cabinets with the paint more than a year ago, and they look great.
