Horrible paint on cabinets, how to repair? Help!
How do I start to paint over my kitchen cabinets.They last owner painted (half way) the kit.cabinets .Do I sand first or. Should Zi remove paint first? Looks like spray paint and regular paint over each other.!!!! Help!!!

Sonja...I would sand well, prime then paint. Make sure you mark each door so you can return to proper place.
If you don't want to sand or prime you can paint right over an old surface with Milk Paint. Try researching General Finishes online. You could also try Annie Sloan or Dixie Bell chalk paint if you like a flatter finish. They even suggest using a wax afterwards to protect the cabinets.
You got a mess. Stay away from more waterbased products will peel off spray paint. Sand smooth, prime with oil based primer, paint with oil based paint.
