Hi Rov! I would suggest emptying them out, and to look for things like pulling away from the wall, corners need reinforcing, etc. A drill that you can screw with will save you some time and effort. Blocks of wood can really turn a shaky cabinet into a sturdy one. Here is a current project that I used wood glue, screws and pieces of 2x4's to make it super strong. The only tools I was using was a power saw, a drill/screwdriver, and a measuring tape.
