Will smart tiles stick to a brick backsplash?
I have a fake brick backsplash in kitchen that is impossible to remove. I want to find something to cover it. I Already painted it and I still don't like it.
make sure the back of the tile, even at the overlap, is also sticking to the wall not to itself. If the overlap is sticking to itself you will need to trim off the excess- use sharp scissors or a blade and get rid of the excess.
If any part of the adhesive paper got dirt or body oils from handling they won't stick good. What you can do is use E6000 adhesive squeezed behind the tiles when they do unglue. It's strong and clear.
You can switch out the adhesive for vinyl flooring adhesive instead
