I bought the vinyl stick on backsplash tile sheets and they won't stick at the overlap part. I keep having to press them back down again. Help.

make sure the back of the tile, even at the overlap, is also sticking to the wall not to itself. If the overlap is sticking to itself you will need to trim off the excess- use sharp scissors or a blade and get rid of the excess.

There are sections that look like foil where the tiles fit over and that's where it is lifting.

If any part of the adhesive paper got dirt or body oils from handling they won't stick good. What you can do is use E6000 adhesive squeezed behind the tiles when they do unglue. It's strong and clear.

You can switch out the adhesive for vinyl flooring adhesive instead

I have a friend who swears by it, she said "she never looked back" Good luck :)
