What type of backsplash should I use for textured walls?

if this is in your kitchen, I'd use something that is smooth and easy to clean ... peel/stick tiles, etc.
Thank you. I'm just concerned they may not stick on evenly since wall is textured.
You could sand the walls so they are smooth or skim coat it. If you skim coat it, sand it lightly to give the new backsplash something to cling to.
