How do I keep my front load washer door open in a tasteful way?

Hi!
Front load washers are awesome, but I'm nervous about mold so I keep the door open. I'm trying to figure out a way to just have it cracked open and not swinging all over. I saw someone use a wine cork with a metal thing at each end (sort of like an allen wrench) to use as a hook to hold it open like an inch or two, but that didn't work for me. If they make a special hook for this, I have yet to find it. Many thanks for any ideas!

Fold a microfiber towel several times and use it to prop the door open. Keep the detergent compartment drawer open, as well. Anyone with any knowledge of todays front loaders will excuse any appearance, knowing that you're keeping your home free of mold and mildew!
if you put a sock with cat litter in it , it will absorb the moisture even if the door is closed. they also have mildew bags that you can buy.

I started putting vinegar in my washer with every load, problem solved. Benifits to this is mold problem taken care of, clothes are brighter, cleaner & softer. Does not leave clothes or washer smelling like vinegar. It's a safe natural solution & cost pennies . Hope this helps
