Trudy on Apr 03, 2016There are a zillion cheap used entertainment centers or wardrobes for sale, sometimes even free, that you could customize to fit your space. Or, you can buy pantry cabinets from big box stores and line several up.Helpful Reply

Julies1949 on Apr 03, 2016Your question is a bit broad. You can often get cabinets free on Craigslist when someone is doing a reno. Paint them all the same color, add a countertop over the machines for folding, incorporate a bench with baskets for hidden boot and glove storage, hang the coats inside a pantry cabinet to keep them out of sight. It really depends on your space and the layout you have to work with re electrcity and plumbing.Helpful Reply

Nancy Jenkins on Apr 04, 2016Have you got a Restore nearby. It is Habitat for Humanity store where you can get good buys on used or unused items. I haven't been to one nearby my place but heard good things.Helpful Reply

Sue.sacco on Apr 04, 2016Thank you! I do need to check out Restore and craigslist. I just am not sure I should commit to the huge project of getting all the cabinets, fitting them , painting them tryihng to get a clean custom look, Ya know...that fear of getting started?? The time it will take?? Being satisfied after all the effort? We have 3 remodeling companies getting me some quotes ready.Helpful Reply

KatAych on Apr 04, 2016Like everyone above says, get your supplies together. To add that custom, "upscale" look, I would suggest getting pieces that fit together so they look like they are built-in, and definitely adding crown molding around the cabinetry.Helpful Reply
