ANY ideas for doing our 10x12 mudroom/laundry room on a budget but with the custom expensive look? We want floor to ceiling with cabinets/modding, no dust collecting space. We want, unique, clean, look...not open lockers...no shoes and coats cluttering my mind. Thank you!!

There are a zillion cheap used entertainment centers or wardrobes for sale, sometimes even free, that you could customize to fit your space. Or, you can buy pantry cabinets from big box stores and line several up.

Thank you Trudy. Would love to see a pic of this if anyone has done it! Any other ideas?

Your question is a bit broad. You can often get cabinets free on Craigslist when someone is doing a reno. Paint them all the same color, add a countertop over the machines for folding, incorporate a bench with baskets for hidden boot and glove storage, hang the coats inside a pantry cabinet to keep them out of sight. It really depends on your space and the layout you have to work with re electrcity and plumbing.

Have you got a Restore nearby. It is Habitat for Humanity store where you can get good buys on used or unused items. I haven't been to one nearby my place but heard good things.

Thank you! I do need to check out Restore and craigslist. I just am not sure I should commit to the huge project of getting all the cabinets, fitting them , painting them tryihng to get a clean custom look, Ya know...that fear of getting started?? The time it will take?? Being satisfied after all the effort? We have 3 remodeling companies getting me some quotes ready.

Like everyone above says, get your supplies together. To add that custom, "upscale" look, I would suggest getting pieces that fit together so they look like they are built-in, and definitely adding crown molding around the cabinetry.
