Shelves? Cabinets? My rinky dinky house has the laundry in the garage, I put up an "L" shaped open shelf over the washer and dryer, but I am tall and can reach, my 5'1" mom could not, so placement is important if that is a concern.
Without seeing it, can't really make good advice, but here are great ideas from Pinterest you can pick from what fits in your space. https://www.pinterest.com/search/pins/?rs=ac&len=2&q=organize%20a%20tiny%20laundry%20room&eq=organize%20a%20tiny%20laundry%20room&etslf=13883&term_meta[]=organize%20a%20tiny%20laundry%20room%7Cautocomplete%7Cundefined
I placed a closet rod across the area above, to hang things as they come out of the dryer and don't wrinkle. I can't add a shelf (basement foundation) but i got a little pull-out shelf unit that is as deep as the washer dryer, only about 8 inches wide, three shelves to hold products like stain removers and detergent bottles, it's on wheels so easily pulled out and put away, and plastic so easy to clean.
