It would help to know what kid of space you have now and how you use your laundry room, For example, do you have enough room for cupboards and shelves - do you have enough of them. Do you do all of the laundry or do other family members help you? Do you have a sorting section, a table for folding and a built in ironing board plus a ironing board. Do you have enough room to hang hand washed clothes, etc.?

Think of all of the things you want to incorporate such as ironing area, storage, sorting, folding, etc. Work around that before you begin decorating.
