Hi Neil. Using strong shelves will hold just about anything. You can use Rubbermaid bins with lids to hold like items, like painting supplies or plumbing supplies. Be sure to label the bins listing what's inside them. Neil, peg board works great too. You can hang tools like screwdrivers, hammers, etc. I also use overhead hooks to hold the kids bikes. Good luck.

Use the side closest to a vehicle for narrow shelves to store smaller tools or for all hanging tools. If one side has more space, build deeper shelves to hold larger boxes, cases, and tools. A pegboard is always good for hanging tools, extension cords and hoses, baskets and bins. More good luck to you. Jewell
We used old kitchen cabinets. Also beside using $1 plastic bins, we laid peel and stick tiles on wood surfaces for easy clean up. Will need paper cutter to cut to the size you need. Also used peel and stick tiles under all sinks for easy clean up and if you get a water leak it will be help to preserve the wood under the sink. Bernice
