I had to move twice in the last year. Both moves were downsizing with the first one cutting my living space by more than half. I only kept a reasonable number of the leftover storage containers and recycle the rest or used them to store office supplies, medicines, first aide stuff, anything that needed storage someplace other than the kitchen. I kept the best ones for leftovers and kept the same brand and sizes basically except for a couple larger ones and a couple tiny ones. I keep them in a see-through plastic bin in a cabinet and I can just pull that out when I need a container. That way they aren't falling out or getting disorganized all over again. I figured how many do I really truly need?

I finally got rid of all my leftover cool whip and cottage cheese containers and invested in nesting containers. The same lid fits all of them. They vary in height to hold different amounts.

OK, do you really need them all? If I looked in your fridge is it completely filled with these or is it that you need to let go? I personally would get rid of all of them and invest in some glass ones but just one box. They are clear and wash very well as the box also brings several of the most commonly used sizes. They fit within each other. They go in microwave and straight to table. So you can prepare food or salads and place out and what's left over, cover and into fridge. Can you really say that about what you currently have? Go glass life will be made easier.
