How can I organize/store things in my tiny new apartment?

My apt was turned from a 1 family house to a small 4 family house it has no storage or closet space

My aunt never used anything but sheets, she bought pleater tape ya sew onto material then used hooks that made pleats from openings in the tape.. Hung onto draw drape rods..
make every piece of furniture have DUAL DUTY.. for storage: coffee table or end table- drawers or baskets, night stand- the same. sofa- storage underneath. bed also. also think UP with wall space with shelves and more baskets to hide clutter. Putting the seldom used things higher up. Check IKEA online. they have reasonable drape panels in large sizes to use for wall to wall curtains to separate areas.. and hide stuff
