Home depot Lowes have these wire racks and shelves that you can mount to inside of doors and cabinet doors. I had a family of 5 in one for over a year. Tough, but we did it. And somehow I managed to find places for all of our junk. I had those little plastic nightstand like things with drawers wedged between the bed and the walls, dollar store plastic shoe boxes. I agree! There is so much “lost” space in campers and trailers. When you say “camper”, I am referring to the truck mounted, cabover type like my family had when growing up.
My dad was retired Air Force and he knew how to PACK! But really look at the places you can add storage...the cooking area has tons of options. Pull the bottom drawers out and lay your camper-sized cookie sheets, etc. underneath (get some non-skid shelf liner to put in between to keep them from rattling). Do you have a potty room, lots of unused space there, especially good for travel storage too.
Also, really look at what you need to take, as opposed to want to take. If your model has a ladder, well, use it! Roof storage and even simply using the ladder itself for storage with bungees I’ve seen.
Have fun! 😎
Pintrest. I believe it what it is calle not sure I am spelling it right. They have a ton of ideas. I looked through it and got some great ideas, and I don’t own a camper, but have a small house.
