I would fit a piece of wood over the top. Then you can store things inside, and put a pillow on top. Voila, a lovely new seat!Helpful Reply -

You could also create storage areas by cutting holes in the sides and framing out with plywood creating cubicles. Then use baskets or other items to store things in. If you wanted you could even put doors on to hide what is inside.Helpful Reply -
