if you don't have original shoe box, you can buy plastic ones for about a dollar. -

Get little cedar blocks to put in each shoe. If they are valuable, you can get cedar shoe stretchers that fit inside the shoes -

I have plastic bins that I slide under my bed for shoes. One (each) for dress, casual and sandals. -
