How can I make my deck feel like a getaway with plants and decor?
2 years ago I moved from my home and moved into an apt. My great joy was my indoor and outdoor plants. I am disabled and that is something I could enjoy. My home now, doesn't have much of a deck but I would love for it to be an oasis for me . I would be in heaven! Thanks so much! 🌸💮🏵🌻

Good luck!
Your planting zone and sun exposure will dictate what grows best. Palms, elephant ears, large zinnias, cosmos, lantana, cascading petunias, ageratums, calla lillies, lavender, basil, plumeria will give you color, privacy, nice smelling flowers.
I would buy plants that work well in containers and look tropical to give you that relaxing, vacation-like atmosphere. A small fountain or outdoor water feature of some sort would also lend a very zen-like vibe.
