Not sure what you are referring to, perhaps you meant to put this on an article instead of in general. However, I have found E6000 as a great adhesive and you should be able to affix lights to branches with it.

When I add lights to branches, I simply wind the branches with the lights and wires. Or you could attach them with small floral wire or even garbage ties, depending on the color you need.
