Need ideas on how to disguise septic tank covers. The plastic blue covers are 23“. Total length to cover both is 8 feet. Or I can disguise each one individually.

Will you be doing any planting around this area? You could buy 2 round galvanized tubs (or one long rectangular tub--though I don't think they are 8 feet long) and turn them upside down and use as a place to put pots of flowers on--and then plant perennials around the rest of the area to make it look pretty. That way if you needed to get to the septic tank covers it would just be a matter of lifting the tubs.

I think I would make a garden in front of it and go with a few shrubs, evergreens and flowering. Plant flowers around them. Leave behind the covers open for access to them.

I have seen fake rocks used for this purpose. You put the lightweight, hollow rock in place, then you can add some plants, or plants in pots, around them.

When you need to get to the cover, just lift the fakes up. Just google "fake rocks for landscaping"--you'll find many sources.

I agree with the above. Another option is to spray paint them a green to match the lawn then top it with a moveable flower pot.

If the covers are plastic.... then you do not want to put too much weight directly on them... a galvanized wash tub, turned bottom up would make a good plant stand.. then put stuff around and in front to hide is disguise... you want something that can be some what easy to move... if you have to service the septic.

I would probably spray paint the covers and place lightweight flower containers on top of them.

I’d landscape around them with flowers and tall ornamental grass and use either a couple of planter boxes on top of them to disguise them or one big one. You could even add like a bench in front of it make it a cute little place to hang out and relax.

maybe put a bench on top of it.
