how about an outdoor kitchen in the corner. Add sail cloth hanging over the area. With tape and a stencil paint an area rug to match the sails. Add some outdoor furniture and there you have it.Helpful Reply -

If budget allows you could bust out at least a portion of the concrete and install a bit of grass. If not, make the best of it by tossing down some rugs, a bunch of potted plants, string up lights, add a table, chairs, any comfortable seating, a grill or bbq, an umbrella if you need shade for guests, kids or pets and do a bunch of diy decor items yourself. Chose a color them or go boho! Do you want to put on goggles and grab a pick axe or do you want tips on how to make it more appealing? The pick axe comment is no joke. Chip and pick and dump and clear. Slow and steady. Then have the soil tested under the concrete, augment it, plant grass seed and add fertilizer.if you want to modify it, create the available space to create different areas, like for lawn chairs, a picnic table, an umbrella, a bbq grill? Plus planters for small trees, bushes, plants, flowers, veggies and herbs. A half barrel koi pond? A bird bath or fountain? Have fun!Helpful Reply -

Removing the concrete would require the use of a jack hammer. You would also have to dispose of the concrete once up. Then you could add sod or even grass seed. If that sounds like something you would want, I recommend ordering a dumpster for concrete removal. If you choose to leave the yard as is, then I agree with above comments for decorating and outdoor furniture.Helpful Reply -

Stained concrete is very nice - why not stain it and put up a pergola for some amazing outdoor living space.Helpful Reply -

You could rent a partner concrete saw and a big pry bar and cut a bunch of squares or rectangles out of it and then do plantings in those squares like small trees or flower groupingshow to cut.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSqJfKczOAsthen I would stain the remaining concrete to add some visual interest. Here's a great one... https://www.pinterest.com/pin/336292297161714499/You could make one a fire pit, and create a seating area around it.Create an outdoor kitchen on one section for BBQ.And I like those plant walls that would give you a great green space...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z235L9EmEnghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYW_5H8ArJohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwLxDnB-i6khttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Owel8LjIV3YHelpful Reply -
