You mean like a propane grill? If on a concrete surface might be ok.
Depending on your frame I would think it's doable. I would make sure to get he locking kind so that u limit the ability of rolling and don't allow it to roll while in fire use. Major hazard.
We are thinking the same thing. I checked home depot for locking casters that would support the weight. Deciding if we built an undersized square frame or cut a round wood same diameter of our round pit to attach caster. Did you move forward with your project? If so how? Our pit is a faux rack but actually plaster of paris so mounting caster to it is not an option.
im looking to do this also. Harbor Freight has the locking casters, got washers and locking nuts at Lowes. My fire pit is from Amazon. Square minimal metal frame, bottom corners are too small i think to put casters on. I’m thinking I’ll attach a board to bottom of frame then attach casters to board
