Not sure what kind you have but some homeowners use fake rocks you can find at Lowe's or on Amazon . Look online for something that fits your needs .
It won't drain if its covered, but you could get a grate to cover it, and clean it frequently.
With a Planter on wheels for easy access
Use river rocks to make it look like a dry creek bed.
