How do I install a French drain?

My garage is getting wet inside when it rains because of the way the concrete slopes. I was think of French drain but any other ideas is welcome.

You need to stop the water before it gets into the garage. The only solution would be to cut in a drain 4 to 6 inches wide trench going across the width of driveway right in front of garage entrance. Put a metal grate on top of opening, then run some PVC 2 inch pipe from bottom of trench out to where the water will run off. Trench should be made of concrete.
