How to decorate front of house?

we are moving into our first house soon!! I am looking for DIY ideas to have neutural colors in front of the house (green, burgundy plants..). Please help if you can!!

In addition to pictures, please indicate where you live and what direction the house faces (West? East?) which will depend on the kind of plants you'll want. -

Do a google search to find out what your growing zone is. Putting in the right plants is imho the best place to start. I only plant perennials so they return each year. Try to stagger the times they bloom for ongoing flowers. THEN you will have a better idea of other decor to add. -
