How to reuse an aquarium to make a cactus garden?

    "Cacti look great in these types of terrariums, but they don't survive very long, because cacti need regular airflow and low humidity to thrive. However, that doesn't mean you can't create a cactus terrarium."

    I would put a layer of potting soil and then small pebbles on top of that. Add you plants then decorate with larger rocks.

    I would start by putting a good thick layer of potting soil on the bottom and then topping it with pebbles. Plant the cactus plants and then add more decorations.

    Easy peasy! First, make sure you thoroughly clean and sterilize all inside surfaces of the tank. Fill the bottom with cacti medium and plant away!

    Add a bit of soil to the grit in the bottom of the tank and plant your Cactus.

    Planting cacti or succulents require there own soil. The package is labeled for that purpose. You cannot and should not use potting soil,or soil they will not survive

    Put your plants in individual containers and use decorative rocks, sand, gravels, etc.
