I don't know what to do with this deck after taking out the pool

    I can see "storage" underneath. Or if there are kids, maybe a fort on top with a slide down to the ground.

    That deck would be a great spot to grow vegetables, especially tomatoes. You could use pots or even 5-gallon buckets. Just be sure they have holes for drainage. Water frequently. Pick and eat as they ripen on the vine.

    Perhaps you could add on a couple of “stair stepped” decks for a great entertainment patio.

      We have the same situation, just haven’t removed the pool as yet, but this is what I envision for mine when that day comes. In the meantime, a good power wash will help revive the original structure, then if you go forward, stain and seal it all at the same time. My top deck will be for “sunning” Also on the bottom end, we have a “hidden” gate for storage underneath. When we store, we cover with a tarp, but you could place rubber storage chests made for outdoor storage. Good luck, would love to see what you decide to do!
