The space is dry dirt, slight hill, and shade all day. I need help so tired of how bad it looks, I would like some idea landscape ideas that might work in these condition. It doesn't have to be grass just something that will last. Thanks

do a google search of plants that like dry soil & shade. Look for perrenials & make sure they will grow in your zone. Raised beds are another option.Helpful Reply -

In what State or Province are you located? I would recommend the ground cover called "Pachysandra". It spreads, grows about 5" in height and loves the shade. You can also take cuttings: poke a hole in the soil at about a 30 degree angle, insert cutting, keep moist and new plants will form. You also could plant Sedum or Wooly Thyme - the latter stands up to foot traffic very well.Helpful Reply- See 1 previous
