If it does , your local nurseries will sell them! Browse your local nurseries and even ask the nursery managers for advice. Get to know the good folks who work in nurseries, they love to help! We find the nurseries that are strictly just nurseries and not department store areas tend to be the most reliable too. Not knocking any company, just saying that is our experience.
not sure why it would not? Grows all over in Wisconsin ditches and wet areas. Pompass grass grows like quack grass, so might want to container plant.
Real problem controlling this plant, and very difficult to ever get rid of. Leaves are sharp and rough. Suggest you ask at nursery locally for alternative, or plant in large containers
