Landscaping: Low maintenance InCape Cod MA.- suggestions?
I have a ranch home in a .25 acre lot with scrub pines out front currently covered in pine needles. My wife wants to make it look better and I want low maintenance.

I would visit your local nursery for ideas using native plants. Their sales people are trained in what grows well in your region and can give you suggestions. I also suggest that you take a walk or drive around your town and take photos of gardens/landscapes that you like and would look good in your yard for inspiration.
