I think a nice curved walk way with pavers would look great. Select color such as the rose in order to make it pop. Add some shrubs that bloom such as azalea or hydrangeas. Azaleas bloom all summer while hydrangeas bloom in the Fall.

You have a beautiful restful home. I would create a flower bed or rose bed in the center of your yard. Add a yard swing or a couple of wood lawn chairs, with light pavers around that area, and from each entrance to the areas. Use darker pavers leading to the driveway. ☺️
rototiller. roundup twice a week for 6 weeks. Fiber mesh kris cross get at HD. Then cover with River Rock. Beautiful.
I think I would built a deck and have nice wide staircase in the middle and a smaller one on the side where the driveway is. The deck would go from one door to the other. I would put some evergreen and flowering shrubs (that flower all season, not azaleas), like some butterfly bushes. You have to read tags for that information. Then put in some perennials. Go to your local nursery to help you pick what would be best in your area. The fill the deck with nice comfy furniture and a table, chairs and umbrella. Put a few potted plants in the corners and solar light caps on the deck posts.
