Carve it into something to your liking.

You can call a tree service to grind the stump, so it's level with the grass. They have a special machine that does this kind if job. When that's done, you can sit a plant on the stump, or fence it in with vinyl fencing, and put something in the middle. Think about it, you'll come up with something I'm sure. I don't know the price of this service, we had 3 trees taken down, and that was included. Call a few, and ask for an estimate over the phone. Also, ask how they level it off, see if they mention a particular machine. Good Luck!

Get a rounded plastic planter about the same width of the trunk and nail it to the trunk (so it won't blow away). Fill with soil and keep seasonal flowers in it.

I would use it as a focal point. Top it off with a small statue and it will make it look higher, or water feature!!! Surround it with shrubs or plants to hide stump.

Thanks Claudia! Thought of that, but still unsure if I want to spend $$ to have stump ground. I appreciate your ideas!

If you could somehow get a good grip on it, (like screw a huge eye hook into it) you could fasten a chain to it and to a big vehicle! You would at least loosen it up some. It will eventually rot away but needs help.
