If they are free roaming I would use a pressure nozzle on my hose and a long handled floor brush if water alone didn't work. Don't let it stay on your porch, steps, ec. too long though. Like bird poop on your car, the longer it stays there the harder it is to wash off.
I would call a local vet and see what he/she recommends because you don't want to hurt the ducks and some bird poop is toxic to humans and maybe other animals.
OxyClean seems pretty safe and non-toxic to vegetation.

I worked at a prison and we have a dog program and they spray diluted ivory soap in a spray bottle and clean the area they where they do their business. I also have a friend who works at the zoo and they use powdered laundry soap for the fertilizer because it won't hurt the animals. I would suggest the mildest soap that you can find.
