Have tried everything how do you get rid of aphids on hanging baskets?

    You can go to your local nursery and buy ladybugs. Just open up the package and let them fly. I've done that and it worked great. Ladybugs LOVE aphids.

    You can use a spray called liquid 7 or if you don't want to use a pesticide you can mix dish soap and water in a spray bottle and spray the plants very well . Liquid ivory is the best. Make sure to spray the underside of the plant as well as in the dirt. If using the dish soap method you should do at least once a week until the aphids are gone. Liquid 7 may only take 1 application.

      I did the dish soap and water for the last 2 years , I even sprayed them before I saw aphids they were fine for a while then this past week there they were!!!

    First I agree with Linda Valentine, & would start with the ladybugs! Another thing what we did that actually kept the aphids off our hanging baskets all together was, to paint the baskets with house paint. Sounds crazy but that literally stopped the aphids from invading our baskets.

    Unless you re-pot the flowers you will have a repeated situation.They lay there eggs in the soil.

    I used a a spray of water and lemon Joy and it did the job pretty well..

    Lady bugs eat aphids. I buy mine at my local nursery.
