I would like to know how to get rid those pesty little sink/drain flies. I've tried baking soda and vinegar, drain cleaners and put plastic over the drains.

They are probably breeding in the trap since it doesn't get flushed often. You can put a few drops of oil of any kind down the drain and that will kill any larvae. You can also put a little bleach in the drain to kill adults and larvae - an oz. or so.

They are drain flies, do a web search for methods to rid the draina of them.
Put about a gallon of boiling water down the drain to kill hopefully all of them that are down their. Put up fly strips to catch the others. Continue using the boiling water daily until between the fly strips and the water they are under control and gone.
