Help, lotsof weeds on the patio, mainly purslane.

Pull up as much as you can. If they are growing through cracks you can scrape them with a acraper. Or use a weed water. Then use Round-up if there is no other plant material that you do not want destroyed. Saturate the area where it is growing from, i.e., all cracks. It will take a few days to eliminate it. Some areas may require second application.Helpful Reply -

i weed eat to get rid of what is showing above ground and the I put round up on it. Having the freshly cut stems helps kill the roots quickly!Helpful Reply -

Purslane is edible, tastes like spinach. It is growing there because the soil is "sweet' if you adjust the ph of your soil it will stop growing. Otherwise pour boiling water, or vinegar on it. Remember that both of these will kill any thing they touch.Helpful Reply -
