If these are in your kitchen, you might be dealing with drain flies. They hatch out every 1-3 weeks and become a pest in your home. You can clean your drain well with boiling water and bleach. Repeat each week until they are gone.Helpful Reply -

These may be fungus gnats. They lay eggs in moist soil. The trick is to let the top layer of soil dry out...nowhere to lay eggs anymore!Helpful Reply -

Perhaps the soil in the plants are too moist. Some folks have this problem, very often, but I have never had this. I water only 1/2 of the saucer on the bottom of the pot, and no problems. Only water according to your reg. schedule. J.Helpful Reply -
