How can I get rid of weeds and grow grass? Nothing seem to work!

If I can manage to grow grass in 100° heat in a drought with water restrictions, you can grow grass too. What methods have you tried so far? How about growing clover instead? Drought tolerant once established, chokes out other weeds, hardly requires mowing, fun to roll around in and takes a beating from kids and pets? See if these help you!

I just use Weed n Feed, it always works for me.... if its really old badly cared for lawn, after treating weeds, sprinkle a lot of rich compost soil all over the lawn and rake it even, then add your seed (check with local garden center to see whats best in your area), and water daily. About six weeks you should be seeing new grass coming up thickly.
We use the Scott's 4-step program. My sweet hubbie uses a broadcast spreader to apply Scott's treatment every other month. Our front lawn looks great. He doesn't put it down in the backyard. Dogs and kids. It runs us about $20 for each application. I hope you find this info helpful. Good luck.
